Architecture Studio Project: Wood Materiality.

From a tree stump, Jacob constructed a flexible, wooden ‘blanket’ that can be spread over and expanded to cover any surface, mimicking it’s contours.  This specific placement of the piece, outside of Givens Hall at the Samfox School of Design and Visual Arts, was chosen to demonstrate just how manipulatable the ‘blanket’ is.  Here, it covers three different planes.
